APIOps in the Age of AI Agents

June 2-3, 2026 at Epicenter Helsinki

APIOps Helsinki 2026 brought together API platform leaders, architects, identity specialists, product owners, and community practitioners for two days of talks, clinics, labs, and open discussions on how APIs, governance, and operating models change when AI agents become real API consumers.

2 conference days
17 speakers and hosts
25+ talks, clinics, labs, and sessions

Event Summary

What the Helsinki community worked through together.

The 2026 event focused on practical APIOps decisions: API platform strategy, identity and access models for agents, API monetization, governance, OpenAPI and Arazzo readiness, MCP patterns, AI gateway architecture, and the operating models needed to make API work repeatable across teams.

The format mixed keynotes with parallel tracks, hands-on workshops, clinics, guided labs, panels, and unconference sessions. Attendees were encouraged to bring real API and platform problems so the program could move beyond passive conference listening into concrete decisions and peer feedback.

Bio

I am an API consultant and founder of Osaango and the APIOps community, with over eight years of experience helping organizations improve how they design, deliver, and manage APIs. I created APIOps Cycles, an open method inspired by Lean and service design, which helps teams align API design, governance, delivery, and adoption. The method is free to use, supported by open-source tooling, and works with existing API platforms and tools. My work focuses on helping organizations reduce complexity in API programs, improve collaboration between business and technical teams, and create more consistent and scalable API practices. I am also co-author of API Economy 101 and actively contribute to building the global APIOps community.
